Paddy Cullen, Dublin’s three-time All-Ireland winning goalkeeper, has died at 80.
A beloved figure in Gaelic football, he debuted in 1967 and retired in 1979, later managing Dublin in the 1992 All-Ireland final.
Cullen was pivotal in transforming Dublin football during the 1970s, securing All-Ireland titles in 1974, 1976, and 1977.
He played in six consecutive All-Ireland finals (1974–1979) and earned four All Star awards, the last in his final year.
Cullen had been battling illness before his passing, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the sport.
